CLASS FEES

There are no auditions for entry and you don't have to sing like Judy Garland or dance like Fred Astaire - you just have to love musicals!

FEES & FREE TRIAL LESSON
You may take one, FREE trial lesson before any commitment. There is no fee to pay for the free lesson.

The FREE trial classes are available on these following dates:
- Wed, 4th Jan (Time: 10.00am)
- Fri, 6th Jan (Time: 7.30pm)

The trial classes are conducted as full lessons.

You can also take a free, trial class in the first week of term on either 11th Jan OR 13th but, if you join after that, you would not be eligible for a full-term payment discount.

OUR FEES
The fee is $80 per class of 2 hours 30 mins for a full class of song and dance. There includes a ten mins allowance for change over of classes.

For singing-only, the fee is $45 per class of 1hr 10 mins. The school provides a fully-professional pianist/accompanist and we give you F.O.C. all sheet music required for the course.

The fees include the end-of-term performance on 25th March (A full afternoon and evening – 6 hours) and the afternoon dress rehearsal the day before on the 24th (3 hours).

All payments for classes are now made directly to the YMCA. They accept NETS, credit and debit cards, cash or cheques. Cheques should be made payable to ”YMCA of SINGAPORE”

IMPORTANT NOTE: YMCA MEMBERSHIP
We have now relocated to the Singapore YMCA. All students of all ages at The Musical Theatre School (TMTS) MUST take up the Associate Membership with the YMCA (or Associate Youth membership) before joining our school.

Other categories of YMCA membership offer more facilities but those other memberships are subject to conditions so just check out the YMCA website first. You may join YMCA at any time before term starts but make sure the Reception registration know you are a student with The Musical Theatre School (TMTS).

FEE PAYMENT SCHEDULE
Existing/returning members may also pay for just the first five lessons of term they take but, after that, must pay for the remainder of the term in full.

SPECIAL DISCOUNT FOR UNIVERSITY AND POLYTECHNIC STUDENTS
Current students (of any nationality) attending any Singapore Junior College, University or Polytechnic in 2011 or 2012. You may take a free, trial lesson in the trial week OR the first week of term. Thereafter, if you decide to join, your fees will be:

•	$60 per class for song and dance (Duration: 2hrs 20mins)
•	$35 per class for singing only (Duration: 1hour 10 mins)
•	University and Polytechnic students may pay the term fees in the same two, equal installments as everyone else but sorry – you cannot pay by the class.

Please note:
There is NO registration fee to pay for anyone now but all those taking part in our classes must join the YMCA as Associate Member for one year.

MAKE-UP FOR MISSED CLASSES
If you miss a class we will try to arrange a make-up session for you with another class but this cannot be guaranteed: it will depend on class numbers.

All weekly classes will have the same content as far as possible so make-up is easily taken, especially for those travelling regularly. BUT ... We prefer you please try to stay in the same class for the whole term ... and you cannot take make up in a class that is already full.

If we have to cancel a class, then we will make-it-up in full with a replacement class or a pro-rata reduction off the next fees you pay. For more details, refer to Questions.

REFUNDS - IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Sorry but there can be no cash refunds at all in the event you leave during a term. The only exception is if you leave for medical reasons, in which case a doctor’s certificate - strictly relevant to the illness/injury you may have – must be shown to us.
